Maintenance

Maintenance is an optional feature than can be enabled if desired (disabled by default).

The Maintenance feature provides two benefits:

1) Manage, schedule, and document completed maintenance in one place 2) Evaluation of maintenance plan downtime in the Production Scheduler

When the Maintenance feature is enabled Velosity will evaluate Maintenance Plans when updating the Production Schedule. The Schedule will be adjusted to account for the downtime required to complete the Maintenance.

Note: Handling unscheduled downtime is best handled via Task Non-Working Time (setup by the Administrator).
