Service
The Service module provides functionality for situations where Velosity is used for Customer Service - RMA being one example.
Three features are currently included in Service module: 1) Tickets, 2) Trouble Reports, 3) Diagnostics.
Tickets
Service Tickets provide a way to associate serial numbers and customers when products are returned from service. Each Ticket can have one or more serial numbers attached to it. A serial number can have a Sales (Repair) Quote or Sales (Repair) Order associated with it.
Trouble Reports
Trouble Reports provide the ability to document the problem resolution process from start to finish for companies that service products (RMA, upgrades). Trouble Reports work hand-in-hand with the quoting (Smart Quote) through Scheduling (Sales Quote > Sales Order > Production Order > Schedule).
Diagnostics
Through the integration with Yonyx, product specific interactive decision tree diagnostic tools can be provided to your users directly from within Velosity.
