Velosity STORE Overview

Velosity STORE is the customer-facing e-commerce view Velosity CPQ. It provides a multi-tenant, themable storefront designed to showcase and sell both configured and SKU-based products - all defined within CPQ.

Core Concepts

  • Multi-Tenancy: Velosity STORE is multi-tenant like all other Velosity applications. A global company could have 10 different tenants, connected by an Organization Group and presented to buyers as one unified list of stores, but with unique storefront for each Tenant - with its own branding, products, and settings.
  • Themable Interface: Each store can be customized with specific themes to align with the brand's identity, ensuring a unique look and feel while sharing the underlying platform logic.
  • Product Flexibility: Supports both standard SKU products and complex "configured" products where users can select options (e.g., bike frame size, color, components) before purchase.

Key Features for Users

  • Store Discovery: Find stores (Velosity tenants that have enabled a Store) and browse their Configured and SKU products.
  • Product Catalog: View SKU products and configure Configured products - pricing, and availability.
  • Shopping Cart: Manage items (Configured and SKU) before proceeding to checkout.
  • Secure Checkout: Integrated payment processing and order confirmation.
  • Order Management: Track current orders and view purchase history.
