HighGear is a leading no-code workflow automation platform that allows organizations to design, build, and deploy enterprise-grade business applications and workflows without writing code.

By integrating Velosity with HighGear, you can trigger automated workflows based on events within Velosity, such as when a Sales Order is released or a new Service Trouble Report is created.

Configuring the Integration

To enable the HighGear integration in Velosity:

  1. Navigate to Setup > Integrations.
  2. Select HighGear from the list of available providers.
  3. Enter your HighGear credentials:
    • ClientID: The unique identifier for your integration provided by HighGear.
    • Client Secret: The secret key associated with your ClientID.
  4. Toggle the Status to Active.
  5. Click Update.

[!NOTE] You must have an active HighGear account and have configured an API client within the HighGear platform to obtain your ClientID and Client Secret.

Common Use Cases

Sales Order Fulfillment

When a Sales Order is moved to RELEASED status in Velosity, a webhook can trigger a HighGear workflow to handle post-sales tasks such as credit checks, fulfillment planning, or customer onboarding.

RMA and Service Management

Creating a Service Trouble Report in Velosity can automatically start an RMA workflow in HighGear, routing the request through the appropriate engineering and quality control teams for approval.

Quality Control Notifications

Integrate Velosity production events with HighGear to alert quality managers when a specific manufacturing step is completed, ensuring timely inspections.
