Items Analysis

Items Analysis provides tools to audit your catalog and identify items that may have incorrect pricing, missing data, or require immediate action.

Cost and Price Check

The Cost and Price Check tool identifies items that are currently "flagged" for attention, specifically those that may have been added to a quote or To-Do list but have placeholder pricing.

Flagged for Purchasing

Items are flagged for purchasing review if they meet the following criteria: - Unit Cost: is exactly $0.01 (common placeholder) - Unit Price: is exactly $0.00 - Activity: The item is referenced in a pending To-Do item OR is currently used in an active Sales Quote.

Using the Tool

  1. Navigate to Items > Analysis.
  2. Select Cost and Price Check.
  3. Use the Slicer to filter the results by:
    • Category: Specific item groups.
    • Active Status: Filter for only active or inactive items.
    • Country: Filter by Origin Country.
    • Price/Cost Ranges: Find items within specific value bounds.

Actions

From the analysis results, you can: - View Item: Jump directly to the item detail to update pricing. - View Quote: Inspect the quote where the item is being used. - Mark To-Do: Update the status of the related task once the pricing is resolved.
